Our team is office based. We learn from each other and we help each other simply by being in the same room. One of our selling points is how well we cover each other and we do this by creating the most wonderful sense of team. That said – when required all team members have laptops and can work from home if there is a pressing need or if they are juggling carer responsibilities.
We do encourage all of the team to look out for courses they would like to attend and support them with time and funding. There are lots of industry webinars we sign up to. Within the office we also do peer to peer learning and this is actively encouraged and we hold lunch and learn sessions. So yes, we do provide training.
We have recently upgraded our phone system to a new VOIP service which enables us take calls wherever we are. Everyone has their own set of headphones and receives training on how to manage the calls via their computers. We provide a number of our clients with a telephone answering service, taking accounts related queries, and following up on credit chasing.
Our office does not have parking, we rely on using the council all day car park (self-funded) or on-street parking in the surrounding area.
Tea (Yorkshire Tea and Herbal Teas) and Coffee (Tassimo) are all provided. There is a microwave, toaster and an air-fryer. Crockery and cutlery at are all in the kitchen area.
